Electrostatic coating equipment has the characteristics of high spraying efficiency, uniform coating and less pollution, and is suitable for large-scale automatic coating production lines. It has gradually become one of the coating processes widely used in production. It is used in industrial fields such as automobiles, instruments and meters, electrical appliances, agricultural machinery, household appliances, daily hardware, steel furniture, doors and windows, electric toys, toys and gas machines and tools, Now let's talk about the characteristics of electrostatic spraying:
1. The coating utilization rate is greatly improved. Generally, when spraying with air, the coating utilization rate is only about (30 ~ 60)%. If the workpiece is porous network structure, the coating utilization rate is less than 30%. Electrostatic coating is adopted, and the coating particles are adsorbed on the workpiece surface by the force of electric field, which significantly reduces the dispersion and rebound, and the coating utilization rate is increased by 1 ~ 2 times by air spraying.
2. Improve labor productivity. The electrostatic coating assembly line is suitable for mass production. It can realize simultaneous spraying of multiple spray guns, which is easy to realize automatic flow operation. The production efficiency is 1 ~ 3 times higher than that of air spraying, and the efficiency of disc electrostatic coating is higher.

3. Improve the quality of coating products. The charged coating particles are discharged and deposited on the workpiece under the action of electric field, and will produce an embracing effect according to the distribution of power line. Through the configuration of spray gun and the adjustment of spraying parameters, a uniform, flat, smooth and plump coating can be obtained to achieve the purpose of high decoration
4. Significantly improve the coating operation environment. Electrostatic coating produces less dispersed paint mist and is carried out in the spray booth, which is conducive to environmental protection and improvement of working conditions.
5. Due to the effect of electrostatic field, the anti concave part will produce electric field shielding and form a thin coating. Therefore, a manual paint repair station is generally set to make up for the defects. For plastic, wood, rubber, glass and other non-conductive workpieces, electrostatic spraying can be carried out only after special surface pretreatment.
6. Electrostatic coating has the risk of fire caused by high-voltage spark discharge. When the workpiece shakes or the distance between poles is too close due to operation errors, it will cause fire. Therefore, it is very important to set up a safe fire extinguishing device in the electrostatic painting room.
7. Electrostatic coating has certain requirements on the electrical performance of coating and is easily affected by environmental humidity.
